We're Taking a Deep Dive into Cold Climates!
Explore the Polar Regions — the Arctic and Antarctica — discovering what it’s really like in some of the coldest places on Earth. Expect to learn about icy landscapes, brave animals who live there, and how people survive in freezing temperatures.
Ever wondered how ice forms? Why things melt? Or how animals keep warm in freezing weather? Through hands-on experiments, you’ll investigate states of matter, insulation, melting and freezing, and even try out blubber-glove challenges!
Meet the incredible creatures who call chilly climates home (hello, penguins and polar bears!). You’ll learn how they were created to adapt — from thick fur and clever camouflage to amazing hunting skills. How do they survive winter? Stick around to find out!
Competition Time - and yes, there are prizes to be won! Snowball your way into frosty fun as you dream up your own icy adventures. Create winter-themed stories, frosty fact files, glorious guides, or peaceul poems—all inspired by magical snowy worlds!
Expect to get creative with frosty artwork! Think snowflake designs, icy landscapes, and maybe even sculpting with unusual “cold” materials. Or maybe you're a digital art pro. Be sure to follow the Challenge of the Week so you can share your icy creations with everyone!
