Introducing... Fuse & Sparkle!
We've teamed up with the wonderful Workinglass, to bring glass fusing workshops to our home education community.
This half term, we're glass fusing Superpowers of the Wild!
Drawing inspiration from weird and wonderful animal adaptations, children will explore design techniques before creating their own fused glass masterpieces.
Week 1: Axolotl
Superpower: Regeneration! The Axolotl can regrow lost limbs and repair parts of its body.
Week 2: Glass Frog
Superpower: Transparency! The Glass Frog's body is so translucent that you can see its internal organs.
Week 3: Immortal Jellyfish
Superpower: Rewind! The Immortal Jellyfish can return to an earlier stage of its life cycle.
Week 4: Invisible Octopus
Superpower: Disappear! The Invisible Octopus can change its colour, pattern and appearance to blend into its surroundings.
Week 5: Spider Crab
Superpower: Disguise! The Spider Crab attaches algae, sponges and other organisms to its body for camouflage.
Week 6: Flying Snake
Superpower: Glide! The Flying Snake flattens its body and glides between trees.
