It Takes a Village..

A 6-WEEK "BUILD A VILLAGE" CLAY MODELLING PROJECT!

Get creative with clay! This 6-week clay modelling project lets children shape, build, and design their own creations while learning new techniques each week. A fun, hands-on way to boost creativity, focus, and confidence—ending with unique pieces they’ll be proud to take home.

Miniature clay modelling is a fun, hands-on activity that offers many developmental benefits for children. As they pinch, roll, and shape the clay, children strengthen their manual dexterity and fine motor skills, improving hand–eye coordination and finger control that are essential for writing and everyday tasks.

Working with small details also encourages focus and patience, while the open-ended nature of clay modelling nurtures creativity and imagination—children can freely design houses, people, or entire worlds. When done in groups, it supports social skills such as cooperation, communication, and sharing ideas. Additionally, the tactile experience of clay can be calming and helps children express emotions in a positive, playful way, making miniature clay modelling both enjoyable and educational.
