Introducing... Fuse & Sparkle!
We've teamed up with the wonderful Workinglass, to bring glass fusing workshops to our home education community.
This half term, we're glass fusing Islamic Art!
Drawing inspiration from the rich patterns, geometry and colours found in Islamic art, children will explore design techniques before creating their own fused glass masterpieces.
Available as either weekly workshops or one-off enrichment sessions, each workshop combines hands-on making with opportunities to develop artistic skills, creativity and an appreciation of Islamic art. Pupils will investigate geometric patterns, symmetry and colour while learning how individual pieces of glass can be transformed into beautiful finished artwork through the fusing process.
